Hana thrives at the intersection of creativity and organization, that sweet spot where ideas become real. A natural planner, she loves to dig in and make things happen.

Eager to use her skills for positive change, Hana is most excited by social innovation and the application of technology, business, and design to tackle complex problems. Every day she unleashes her enthusiasm at SYPartners, a transformation consultancy with a 20+ year track record of helping great leaders build great organizations.

A proud multipotentialite, Hana's diverse background also includes: promoting the use of data science to create socially just cities at the Urban Big Data Centre, leading teams to deliver innovative digital solutions at Equator, activating social impact campaigns for global brands at GOOD, and managing policy guidance for United Nations resolutions at the U.S. Department of State.

Her 10+ years of experience span the US and UK, public and private sector, and organizations large and small. Having worked with people from all walks of life—designers, developers, policymakers, and researchers—Hana's deep sense of empathy, matched with an ability to balance problem solving and imagination, makes her an invaluable team player and keen collaborator.

Raised in a Filipino-American family in the Midwest before moving abroad to study and work across 5 different countries, Hana now calls Brooklyn, NY home. Her multicultural background fuels her endless curiosity, prompting her travels through nearly 50 nations. Adventurous at heart, she also explores the great outdoors at every possible chance—she's ‘bagged’ several Scottish munros and independently trekked in the Everest Region of the Himalayas.

Hana graduated from Indiana University with dual BA degrees in Political Science and International Studies. She holds a Master of Public Affairs from IU SPEA, the highest ranked MPA program in the nation, and a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from IU Kelley School of Business.
